This computer at the onset is great. we actually love the physical computer. however, after about 10 uses, the Microsoft word program that came with the computer asked us to enter a product key for use. we entered the product key and it said the key was invalid. we called HP and waited 56 mins the first day and couldn’t get anyone for help. the next day we waited at least 20 mins and finally got someone on the phone. The HP service person said that Microsoft office is NOT included; rather it is a “trial version.” We would NOT have purchased this computer if we knew this, as the Microsoft package costs an additional $99-130.00. The only thing even in the box that indicates a trial version of microsoft is an advertisement-looking flyer which on the inside mentioned the “trial.” We are very disappointed and just want other buyers to know what they are getting into.

Bought my CQ 60-410 computer 28 Aug 09. Today is 28 Sept 09. I have been on the phone with tech support more times than I can count trying to figure out why this piece of junk keeps popping up a bluescreen error and shutting down. After a month of calls they finaly decide I need to return it to the factory so they can fix it. The kicker is now HP has decided they will no longer pay shipping to return their defective product under warantee. This unit has yet to remain operational for more than a day at a time, their tech support can’t fix it (great at teling me to contact Microsoft; everything is Microsoft’s fault if you listen to them) and now I get to fork out some $20-30 for shipping and insurance. Send a message to HP, don’t buy their junk.
