This battery isn't recognized as valid by the Satellite P305D-S8900 even with the 3.10 system BIOS, and although the system will charge it to a point, it won't allow the user to boot the laptop when installed. I ended up selling it to a friend with a P305D-S8818, who states it works just fine for him, thus the neutral review. <br /> <br />IMHO, PA3537U-1BRS should not be listed as a compatible part number if the product can't be used in all models covered by said original part number. IMHO, PA3537U-1BRS should not be listed as a compatible part number if the product can’t be used in all models covered by said original part number. PA3537U-1BRS is Toshiba’s only 9-cell battery model listed as compatible with the S8900.
